This was a hard fought victory for the hosts , on a good surface at moor lane both teams trying to play a good passing game , it was goalless at the break with few good chances for either team. In the second half the hosts began to force good chances for the lively Marcus Cook and Matt Morley and it was those two who combined for the only goal of the match a good cross from Cook found the head of Morley to make it 1-0 , the home team had more chances to double their lead as Morley came close rattling the cross bar with a 20 yard strike and sub Andy Mitchell heading just wide , Almondsbury pushed for the Equaliser but the Winky defence held out with few alarms to get their second win in the week .
