Match Preview: Wincanton Town Vs Bishops Lydeard

Tomorrow Wincanton play their final Western League game of the season as they welcome Bishops Lydeard. Bishops Lydeard are coming to the end of a very successful debut season in the Western League as they have made it up to 7th in the league. Their push up the table has been helped by James Quick, their top goalscorer who has scored 19 goals across the 40 appearances he has made. However recently, they have only picked up 2 wins in their last 8 with their most recent win being a 3-1 win away at Calne Town at the start of April. Wincanton on the other hand won on their most recent travel when they picked up at 1-0 win at Corsham Town on Easter Monday, but they have not won at home since they came out 5-0 winners against a Malmesbury Victoria side on their travels. A victory for Wincanton could see them go up to 9th place if Westbury United and Malmesbury Victoria and end give them a final tally of 59 points. The game is at Moor Lane and is a 3pm kick off. Entry admissions are only £5 for adults and free for Under 16's so come along and support Wincanton in their final game of the season.
